I disagree with the last comment. I think looking at yourself is inseparable from looking into your religion, culture and everything that makes you. I also think that when you are secure in your belief you don’t get worked up when someone attacks it. Religions always need critical assessments now and then. Other wise they get rotten.

Your art form is still blurry despite the commendations. Luckily our artistic character is developing but is way overdue. Is it time you abandon your blasphemy and sacrileges of Islamic faith and pay attention to yourself? If you would just listen to your breath and look around you closely for clues, perhaps then you would discover your very existence and leave Islam and its holy book alone.
    I wish you good luck.

Wow, you are awesome!!! I love your henna art and your architectural stuff. Your blog entries about Scheherazade and Shehrayar are really insightful and fun to read. And the Arabic calligraphy is cool too – Arabic is one of my favorite languages even though I don’t speak it, though I know some of the alphabet.

I just wanted to tell you that your art moved me somehow..
I had this rush of feelings when I saw some of your drawings “women of Arabia” and i totally get the idea and what you are going through.
Art is this thing that has a strong affect on you, that talks to you without saying words and I sure think that you have achieved that.
    God Bless you..

    Salam…
Yet another phenomenal woman from my country! even though I might disagree with some of your statements and/or messages in your work, i can’t help but admire the wonderful talent and respect the strong confident female that never turned her back to her own country or changed her skin. God bless you and i hope to see you and your work in Jeddah soon.

Nicely designed site – love the contrast of the grayed blue with the brown. The site displays your work to it full advantage.
